The Cisco CWDM OADM is passive device that provides the capability to multiplex and demultiplex, or add and drop wavelengths from multiple fibers onto one fiber. This device allows you to add and drop four channels (with different wavelengths) onto one direction of an optical ring. The other wavelengths are passed through the OADM.
