Monnit ALTA Industrial Wireless Thermocouple Sensor – 148°F (-100°C) to 752°F (400°C) THERMOCOUPLE SENSOR KTYPE FIX PROBE

The Wireless Thermocouple Sensor is available with a hardwired thermocouple or K-type connector to support various thermocouple types and ranges. The hardwired thermocouple option measures temperatures up to 400°C (752°F). The K-type connector with Probe includes a needle probe that measures temperatures up to 400°C (752°F). The sensor is programmed to sleep for a user-given time interval (heartbeat) and then wakeup
send power to the thermocouple and wait for it to stabilize
and convert the analog data
mathematically compute the temperature and transmit the data to the gateway. To stay within the abilities of the processor
the temperature is computed off a data table provided by the manufacturer.

Integrated on-board data storage allows ALTA sensors to store data messages if communication to a wireless gateway is disrupted (power outage

or out of range). Messages that can’t be delivered will be time-stamped and stored in memory (up to the last 512 messages) until communication with the gateway is restored
at which point the messages will all be transmitted.

Over-the-air updates allow ALTA products to be updated remotely if new fixes or features become available.

Industrial grade 3.6 V battery (included).

An optional solar powered version is also available. The solar powered version includes a Lithium Iron Phosphate rechargeable battery in conjunction with a solar power cell to keep the battery charged and at optimal capacity. If there is no light present at the solar cell
the battery alone could continue to power the sensor for up to 8-10 years.
